Our Story
Affinity Bank was established in 2010, but we began in 2002 under a different name --as Atlanta Business Bank.
Over the years, we successfully served small businesses in the Atlanta and Southeast with a full slate of financial services.
As we expanded our services to individual clients, we decided that being referred to as “Affinity Bank” worked best. It allowed us to continue offering full-service banking with a combination of ultra-convenient, high tech and high touch private banking to all of our clients.

Simply put – we shifted our approach from geographical to contextual.
We serve the community around a business sector. This allows our sales, service, underwriting and executive teams to create solutions that work best for our clients.

From our start in 2002, we have services small businesses throughout the Southeast, but we also heavily focused on a few select industries to best enhance our offerings. It worked with Dental. So much so, that in some circles we are known as the nation’s dental bank.
In recent years, we have been expanding our outreach, essentially building new circles around the community surrounding manufacturing, construction, development and commercial real estate — many of the small businesses in the North Atlanta near the I-400 Corridor.
